Quoth the Raven...

We were out for a walk in the snow today and came upon this bossy little crow, yelling at us from his perch. I find crows generally a little creepy, I'll blame Poe for that, and a high school English teacher that was a bit too into Poe.  But, after chasing my kids around with the camera for days now with no great pictures to show for it, I thought it was funny that this silly crow was demanding to be shown off.

A case of the Thursdays...

I work every other Thursday.  Each Thursday that I have off is devoted to Tula.  We hit up Storytime at the library.  We run our errands.  And sometimes, if I'm feeling like dealing with the wrath of an envious Gwen generous, we grab a coffee and a vanilla steamer and chill.  I love Thursdays.  I think I know somebody else who loves them, too.

Tula the Giant

This is my new favorite picture of Tula.  Anyone who has met my girl knows she's a shrimp, but with this forced perspective she looks a bit bigger.  I like that.  

Show off

My friend Rachel has a great photo blog.  And by 'great' I mean, how does she have time to do anything else.  Pretty super awesome.  One of my favorite things that she does is "Show off your shot".  Although I've been tempted, I've never ponied up and actually posted any of my pics for it.  But today, I figure why not.  Now, we'll just have to see if I did it right...
